I’m Crystal Encarnación, a single mother and the daughter of immigrants from the Dominican Republic. Before financial services, I worked in the aquatic industry, where I saw how often economic pressure kept families from giving their children access to swimming—something that is both joyful and a critical life skill. That experience shaped my perspective: opportunity is not only about effort, it’s also about access.

I see financial literacy the same way. When clear guidance isn’t accessible—especially across cultural and language barriers—families face unnecessary stress, missed opportunities, and avoidable vulnerability. I entered the insurance industry to help close that gap by making protection and planning easier to understand and easier to act on.
